Empie’s Deadly Shiner

Empie’s Deadly Shiner is an extremly productive wet fly for bass. Bass strike at it in all water conditions: clear, murky, or tannic.  It’s a heavy fly and can be fished  in deeper water with a sinking or sinking tip fly line. Shallower water I recommend a floating line. I typically fish it with frequent, sporadic strips. Make sure you have a few of these deadly flies in your arsenal.
