Trico Spinners are made to represent dead mayfly adults as they die and float on the water surface. They can be found in large quantities from mid summer to fall. The adult mayfly lives only couple of hours making mayfly hatches very prolific and fun to fish. I recommend using Rio Fluoroflex tippet for the best results.
