The Wooly Worm is a great fly to have in your fly box, it can be fished as a wet fly, nymph or streamer. It became a popular pattern for game fish such as trout, bass, and panfish. It was first designed in the Ozarks for bass by Don Martinez but became popular in the 50’s when Charles Brooks made popular for trout. Today it comes in variety of colors.
